FM200 (HFC227ea) uses advanced principle to extinguish fire, the synthetic fire suppression agent aims at fighting fire through the removal of free radicals in fire which is responsible for the heat aspect of the fire.

Using this principle, FM 200 is able to suppress the fire with the lesser amount of fire suppression agent, in other words you will be able control fire with lesser cylinders.

FM200 uses concentrations between 7.9% and 8.5% depending on the nature of the area to be protected. For areas with higher risk such as floor voids FM200 uses a concentration of 8.5% for increased effectiveness.
